This is my story.
Rated: PG - M not to sure.
Beggings
Tick...Tock...Tick...Tock the only sound I could hear as I waited nervously in the seedy room I had rented on Rochester.
It had been two hours since I had arrived on Rochester I had only planned on staying for one, I was supposed to meet a LPI agent that planned to sell critical patrol information to the Rogues.
This information would greatly increase the success of Rogue raids on the Trade Lines of New York and also drum up alot of business for a man like myself. I bring in the life giving drug cardimine, this drug is one of the major commodities to be traded in the New York area.
Though smuggling it is a risky business the profits more than make up for any damages or risks I have to take to get it to the hungry masses of New York.
Beep, Beep, Beep my data pad rang out signaling an incoming message. I quickly skipped through the menu to read the message.
To: Kurt Gerstein From: Troy Demarque
Kurt,
Our contact within the LPI has been compromised, apparently we have ourselves a mole within our midsts. Our contacts last transmission placed him 17k outside of Rochester I have his last recorded transmission I have patched it through to you.
Roger that,
I am 17k out from Rochester get your guy to meet me...
Wait! NO! I am diverting I have been compromised!
I am being pursued by......
--END TRANSMISSION--
As you have heard he was ambushed within the debris field surrounding Rochester, I need you to hold tight for a few hours until our patrols report back in. This seems like something big Kurt that is the forth contact within the space of two weeks that has been compromised.
Something big is going down, LPI and the Liberty Navy have increased all there patrols on our major routes of travel, our supply convoys cant get through Buffalo is low on all critical supplies.
The situation is getting desperate. I will contact you again with more information, but for now just lay low.
Troy Demarque
I threw the data pad onto the table next to me, I had been hearing rumors from passing traders about LPI trying once and for all to stop the pirating activities of the Rogues and make Liberty safe once again.
I knew I had to lay low but I didn't want to spend anymore time on this dump I needed to go now before the LPI decided to sweep the debris field with a fine tooth comb.
I grabbed my blaster and data pad and headed for the landing bay, I knew of a place where I could hide...
Ok thats the end of like Chapter 1, Its probably not the best but I haven't written anything for a while. But tell me what you think anyway.
Give me any pointers and stuff.

Enemy at the Gate
I walked the dimly light corridors that lead towards the landing deck on Rochester, many of the stations deviate guests brushed past me, their suspicious eyes staring me through it was a well known fact that you could be easily killed and left in the corridors of the station to rot or until someone found you, and none would be the wiser.
But I didn't fear this, I feared being caught by the LPI I didn't plan on spending the rest of my life in Huntsville. Should I wish to escape I would need a new ship one not recognizable. I stopped dead in my tracks as I reached the landing deck, I turned to face the large bay door that read 'Ship Dealer'.
I pulled out my data pad and took a quick look at how many credits I had left. I had 486 000 credits to my name which was more than enough to purchase a new ship and equipment.
I pushed my way past the little side door that complimented the larger bay door, I was instantly hit by the smell of H-Fuel and oil large cargo containers full of it sat in the corner of the bay, by them a man was welding a ships hull back together.
My gaze was pulled back to a decently dressed that was walking towards me.
"Hello there, can I be of any help?" He spoke with a distinct accent of a Brettonian, I didn't think there were many Brettonians working for the Junkers. I was obviously wrong.
"What ships you got here? I am looking for something half decent, not one of these second hand pieces of shit" I was straight to the point I didn't have the time for idle chat.
"Quick to the point I see, well I think I can accommodate you" He gestured towards a Blood Hound that sat a few meters away.
This ship would have to do, I had seen what the Rogues could do with these ships in combat and I was confident I could do better.
"It will have to do; How much?" The man smiled he knew he was about to make a sale
"For you, 80 000, I will even throw in an upgraded shield" I pulled out my data pad and began to make the transfer to the ship dealers account.
"The money is in your account, have this rig moved to the landing bay at once I have pressing business to attend to."
The man smiled and nodded in conformation, I took one last look at my new ship before heading to the landing. I entered the landing bay and was greeted by the sight of the ship dealer jumping out of my cockpit and walking to meet me.
"There you go, Have a good trip I nodded and jumped in my ship.
I preformed my usual pre-launch checks and ran my clearance by the Docking Officer. In a matter of seconds I was thrown out into space.
I ran a quick scan of the surrounding area before uploading co-ordinates for the Colorado Jump Hole, my cruise engines fired up and away I went.
About 10k out from the Colorado Jump Hole my com system flashed with a closed channel communication.
"Kurt Gerstein isn't it?"
"Who wants to know?"
"I believe you were told to stay on Rochester, what are you doing out here?"
"I'm sorry you have the wrong person"
Two Rogue ships came into view, the lead was a Wolf Hound the big brother of my ship.
"There is no need for lies Mr Gerstein, Turn your ship round and head back to Rochester."
"Why?"
"Mr Gerstein we will not ask you again, Now turn your ship round and head back to Rochester."
The time for this petty talk was over, If I wanted to leave I would have to go through these guys first, though I was still puzzled to why the Rogues wanted to keep me safe.
I closed the channel and prepared my ship to engage the Rogues.
"You are making a big mistake Mr Gerstein.."
I readied my weapons and engaged my afterburners and headed straight for the two Rogues, as I closed in I was greeted by laser fire my shields absorbed the first few impacts but I began to lose shields.
As I sped to within a 1000 meters of my targets I opened up with my lasers scoring many direct hits as the pair broke formation and began evasive maneuvers.
I pulled sharply to the left to take the lesser of the two, he jigged and maneuvered all round the place trying desperately to avoid the barrage of laser fire coming from my ship. To my surprise he cut his engines and turned to face me head on, his lasers blazed away smashing into my ship.
In a matter of seconds I lost my shields and began to take hull damage. I fired off a missile blindly at the Rogue as I pulled up to the left, a scream came over the com channel as he was incinerated by my missile. I couldn't help but smile and laugh at the lucky shot I just pulled.
My laughter was cut short as the Wolf Hound came down hard on my ass! A missile streaked past my cockpit before exploding on a near by piece of debris.
I couldn't shake the Rogue he stuck to me like glue his lasers constantly cause hits on my ship, I was soon down to only 1 bot and 2 bats left. But in a strange twist of fate the tables were about to change...
A Liberty Navy gunboat and a full wing of Defenders came speeding towards our little duel. The commander of the Gunboat sent out a message over the open channel.
"Unidentified Ships cut you engines and power down your weapons and prepare to be taken into custardy. You are now under arrest."
The Wolf Hound broke off its attack and powered up his cruise engines and headed off into the debris field. I was gonna stick round either and I followed suit, powering up my cruise engines and heading after the Rogue.
"Hey! Wait up!" I yelled over the comms
"If you are smart you wont follow me, I am on a crash course. What I neglected to tell you was that the LPI and Liberty Navy has blocked all exits out of New York in an attempt to round up all the stray pirates in the area
"So why are you heading to the Colorado Jump Hole?"
In the distance I could make out another two Gunboats and a full assault wing of LPI fighters.
"I am gonna tell this to you straight, the Rogues need you alive and well you know to much of our activities and movements in the area. I am was sent to make you sure you were not captured."
"So what do you plan on doing?" I wondered what this Rogue was planning on doing.
" I am going to by you sometime my friend, there are enemies at the gate and it is time for you to go. I am uploading co-ordinates to your neural net, Head to them there will be ships waiting for you there"
I broke formation and paused for a second and watched the Rogue heading straight for one of the two gunboats, the gunboats heavy weapons opened up and blew the Rogue right out of the sky.
I opened my neural net and uploaded the co-ordinates, It seemed I was heading out to Ithica...
Okay another chapter done, that kinda seemed a bit rushed for my liking but I don't have the time at the moment to go back through it and fix up my mistakes and add a little bit more depth.

Part 3Black Masks and GasolineI took one last look at the dieing explosion that was just of a former foe and friend. I didn't wish to hang around for much longer to see what those Gunboats would do to me. I fired up my cruise engines and proceeded to get my ass outta there! But as fate and my shitty luck would have it, I was not gonna be traveling safe and alone for one of the two Gunboats and a wing of LPI fighters were soon firing up there own cruise engines to give pursuit. I was headed for a Trade Lane, I wasn't sure wether I should risk taking the trade and being cut off completely at the end or flying through open space with my good friends of the LPI. 4k...3K...2k...I made a split second decision that could quite possibly end my short life, I headed directly for the Trade Lane attempting what was called a 'Speed Dock' I cruised in and got as close as possible before engaging the docking sequence with the Trade Lane. As I came out of cruise a barrage of laser and missile fire flew past me the missile trails a dull white and the laser a bright heavenly blue. Shield Failure Screamed the computer as I began to take hit after hit from the approaching ships, they had left cruise early so they could fire shots at me in an attempt to cripple my ship. Those attempts weren't to futile I was down to half of my hull and no shields. All this happened in a few short moments but it seemed like time slowed as I docked with the Trade Lane, I heard the familiar and welcoming sound of the Trade Lane sucking me and hurtling me through a series of narrow rings. I took a deep breath and prepared for the worst as I neared the end of the Trade Lane. Coming out of the Trade Lane I was not greeted by the blazing weapons of the LPI and Liberty Navy, but of common traders from Rhineland it was almost eerily quiet. Why didn't my LPI pursuers radio ahead for support? Was this a pure stroke of luck or something more sinister? To be honest I didn't care, either way I was taking advantage of this opportunity. I proceeded to dock with the Trade Lane that would take me to Ithica, but the key to this was that I wouldn't be going the whole way through the Trade Lane I was pulling out half way to meet with the supposed ships that the Rogue told me would be waiting. I zoomed through the Trade Lane carefully watching my Nav Map for the right time to pull out of the Trade Lane. 3...2...1I hit a button and I was dropped from the Trade Lane, I looked up from my Nav Map to the site of two Liberty Navy Fighters. I took in a deep breath and sighed as a message came over the comms. "This is the end of the line, we are taking you into custardy. There is no way out of this one" I wasn't sure what to do, should I obey and spend the rest of my life on a Prison Ship? Or fight my way out and face the possibility of dieing in the process. As I looked back out of my front view port a heavily accented voice came over the comms. "Back off Government Pigs, this one is ours. Before the Navy Fighters had a chance to reply or doing anything half of their original force had been reduced to dust by too swift moving fighters. As two more of the Navy Fighters fell the other two fled, It would seem that luck had come my way again. I just hoped that these guys were friendly... Again soz about not finishing this Part but I have to go out with the g/f will finish it off when i get back
Enjoy

Chapter 4
Black Masks and Gasoline, Part 2
As the remaining navy fighter fled the two unknown ships approached me and hover just short of me. A slight crackling noise came over the comms before a heavily Hispanic accent came through.
"You are lucky my friend, they weren't not going to take you prisoner. More like sending you on a one way trip to the void."
"Who are you? Are you the ships the Rogues said would be waiting?" I was a bit nervous, I didn't want to piss these guys off and end up as the same fate as the navy fighters.
"Haha, Yes my friend that would be us. You were expecting someone else?"
"Ummm, well yeah actually I was thinking I was meeting with more Rogues. Who are you guys anyway?"
"We are a faction known as the Outcast Smugglers Guild, we are the single most largest cardimine smuggling clan in all of Sirius. Word has gotten round about your actions, we are here to make you a proposition."
I paused for a moment trying to figure out the whole situation, I had never heard about this group before. But I was interested in what they had to say, especially if they could get me off the hook with the LPI and Navy.
"Well at the moment it doesn't seem like I have any other choice, what is this proposition you guys have for me?"
"Haha, My friend we are offering you a position within out ranks. Your rep with all factions will be cleared and you will not exist to anyone but us, but in joining us you must realise that my law abiding organizations are after us. But surely it is better than your current situation."
"Well I dint seem to have much choice, so it looks like I am joining up with you guys..." The voice laughed before giving me a warm reply
"Haha, Welcome to the Outcast Smugglers Guild my friend. You are now one of us..."
All that happened a year and a half ago to the day, but my story does not end here. There is still more to know about Kurt Gerstein, It wasn't long before OSG soon lost taste with me and I moved on to greener pastures.
