Hello everyone
I am sorry I didn't write earlier but I have been leaving you all alone while you were having the big drama. After the comments left on Cheyenne Joe's post in the forums this morning I realised you might just want to know how Odd is getting along anyway.
Well, unfortunately, he is not doing very good at all. He is still having trouble using his left side and his speech is still just a soft murmur. He has been responding to a new exercise treatment that we hope will help him but it is very slow. All of his scans have come back clear so that was a great relief. There is a small dark spot just above his nose which they want to look at closer but they assure us it is not an aneurysm. His headaches have lessened but are still there.
On a good note, he is working from home a bit each day on the computer but he gets tired fairly quickly. I did catch him playing World of Warcraft last Sunday and he was smiling at it so I let him go for a bit. I came back 10 minutes later and he was asleep in the chair and his charactor was a ghost. If I could work out how to do everything in Freelancer with just a mouse maybe he could try that.
About all the problems UCOS is having at the moment Oddball would like me to say that he is proud to be in UCOS and will stay in UCOS as long as there is a UCOS. He is 100% behind Archimedes and he volunteers to be in every battle and attend every training session when he gets back in. He also says his goal will be to beat Blackhawk, Meady and Viper in a 3v1 duel. When he can do that, he says he will be a real Medal of Honour winner.
While I am here I will let you know that one of our daughters has borrowed Odds and my log in so she can get to know everyone on GOI. She is a good kid and she knows how to play a bit. We have allowed her on as we believe GOI is family orientated and a nice place to be, generally. We have a very high regard for Cappy and the admin team and know UCOS will look out for her too. Please don't go to any extended trouble for her as she is quite good, she can beat me and don't tell her I told you that or she will get a swelled head Please also realise that because of her age I check all her posts and correct the spelling and grammer. She was on last night but only for 5 minutes as she had forgotten to do homework due in today. She told me Space Cowboy said her Starflier looked cute.
Anyway, I'm rambling on here. Sorry again for missing a progress report last week. It seems Tuesdays are my days for writing stuff so I will let you know how he's getting on next week. This letter has taken me nearly all afternoon to write. Sorry it's so long.
Kind regards
Rose
